Our last event in September was a horse racing night. I had never been to one before, but they are great fun. Real races are shown on the screen and you can bet on them before , just like ‘ a night at the races’. Needless to say Andrew and I didn’t win a thing, but Geoff Jackson managed to win £50 on a £1 stake!

Dean and Michele catered the evening with a lasagne provided by a local Italian restaurant. An idea we pinched from Hampton Sailing Club (thank you!).
