Our Riverside bar is most people’s favourite place in the club. This New Year’s Eve 34 of us decided to cram ourselves into it, and have a House Party. The menu was simple as facilities dictate and, as always, everyone was willing to muck in and help with the washing up. Thank heavens.
The first game was a Treasure Hunt. This theoretically explains why everyone was wondering around like zombies. Well, thoughtful zombies.
It’s not there…
Some dressed more appropriately than others.
Some needing a close look
and an even closer look
Let’s have a pause for supper
Cheers
Then its the polaroid photo competition. The team had to have something beginning with B in the picture.. This is the runner up, entitled Boots and Beaks (ask Mandy). I couldn’t show the winning photo. It was entitled Blue Bolero and Boobs (ask Linda).
Then its Call my Bluff. Commodore kept insisting we believe him (for no good reason at all). I dazzled everyone with my intimate knowledge of Latin and Greek (would I lie), whilst Janet seems to spend all her time at the doctors.
Then its time for the washing up
“I dress up for a good night out, and look what they get me doing”
And all of a suden its midnight and the fireworks go off. OK, OK, maybe these were not our fireworks. But this was our last function, so why not go out with a bang!
