The next week was a busy one for us. Andrew had a rather long presentation to prepare for the Welcome to my Year. Ann Braine and the Ladies Committee had an even busier Saturday cooking a meal for 90 on time.

That night we had invited some new and nearly new to come along for a free drink before the older members arrived. I can happily report that all those newish members will fit in a treat – I think they all bought me a drink! A warm TMYC welcome to you all, and especially to Peter and Caroline who were at their first function..

One downside of chatting to the new members for too long was that we omitted to ‘meet and greet’ at the entrance door. Oops.. and Apologies. This year will be far from perfect but it will be us!
