We have a boat club member who when asked how he feels usually replies Tower Bridge…. up and down you know, up and down…
It’s been a sort of Tower Bridge March for me. There have been gremlins appearing from all directions nibbling away at the Commodores Programme in spectacular form, messing up my social arrangements, taking old friends away from us, irritating me on all fronts and even making me put on weight! Well, that could be the chocolate.
Anyways luckily, I have a shed load of extremely positive friends who are distracting me from these gremlins. Distracting me episode one was a very long lunch at Aqua Neuva, a Spanish restaurant opposite The Palladium. If you like Spanish food go there, my favourite piece of meat , a secreto of Iberian Pork as they call it was almost as good as in Mallorca. The views from their balcony are across the whole of London and the cocktails are pretty as well …
We managed to finish lunch just before they served dinner.
Distracting me episode two was shopping. Always highly recommended.
Distracting me episode three was a round trip to the south coast with family time and supper.
Distracting me episode four was the most positive person on earth, a boating neighbour.
Distracting me episode five is planned for the weekend.
Go away gremlins, go away…
